Bob Willmott will be joining a team of London riders in Cape Town in March 07 for the 109km Cape Town Argus road bike race, featuring a course through the City, Table Mountain and the Cape peninsula. The team is riding on behalf of Gt Ormond St. Hospital, with the goal of raising £5,000 for the charity as a thank you to the support and treatment the hospital has given to a close friend's 5 year old son (diagnosed in November '06 with leukaemia).

Bob has been training since November for the event, tackling 50-100km. per week - mainly on the Richmond Park circuit. Bob has vowed to keep up the close relationship he has built with the Richmond deer once the race is completed (boring them with 5-6circuits on the average Saturday and Sunday!)
