Diametric is pleased to announce that earlier this month David Waters accepted a position on our Board of Directors.

Following a short break, David now brings his extensive analytical experience and knowledge to the Diametric team.

He began his career at the Institute of Hydrology managing international water quality projects, after completing a PhD in multivariate analysis of salmonid fish populations. During this period he published numerous quantitative peer-reviewed papers on subjects such as acid rain and the early hydrological impacts of climate change. He then moved into the private sector, modelling radioactive waste disposal as well as financial and retail risks.

In 1998, he founded Numbercraft Ltd with two colleagues and the company grew to become one of the thought leaders in analytical solutions for the Retail and CPG sectors. Numbercraft worked for all the largest retail and CPG companies and following five years of product and resultant revenue growth the company was sold to Lawson software and David became responsible for the sales and business development for North America and Europe.

As a Diametric Board Director, David will be responsible for overseeing the development of their technology solution to Retail and CPG customers.
