Tools and Technology
Based on our experience with many of our retail clients we developed a series of software solutions that
- enable clients to access customer insight and core KPIs in an easy to use and practical manner
- optimise the clients’ decision support processes in most of the core business areas
- automate core analytical processes in order to maximise efficiency and speed
The emnos RANGER, for example, is a decision support solution that helps retailers and their suppliers optimise merchandising, listing and delisting decisions as well as retailers’ own label strategies by showing how customers see and use product categories. While most delisting decisions today are mainly based on sales numbers on a product level, the emnos RANGER adds the customer dimension and can, among other uses, help identify products which are low volume, but are part of the core relevant set of products for your most important customers.
The emnos SEGMENTER, as another example, turns the typical “one time picture” you get when segmenting your customer base into a “film” by tracking customer behaviour on an ongoing basis. Changes in customer behaviour (e.g. a customer starts buying baby nutrition) can be recognised immediately and automatically. The emnos SEGMENTER works as an early warning system that enables our clients to act on information much faster than in the past.
The emnos ANALYZER solution is a scalable and highly flexible reporting system that is able to answer core business questions down to individual store and SKU level. New product launches, cross purchase and switching activities as well as key measures on any desired level can be accessed directly by our clients in order to speed up and optimise decision processes in marketing, sales and category management.
