This week we are excited to feature Colienne Galland, our Director of Shopper Science for Southern Europe.

  1. Where did you start your career?

I started my career in 2006 as a statistician at Nielsen and since then my track record has been grounded in customer data from consumer panels, access panels, and loyalty cards.

  1. When did you start at emnos? What brought you here?

I joined emnos in October 2016 as the Analytics Director for Southern Europe. One of the things that appealed to me about this role was the opportunity to handle large customer data sets and to help retailers and manufacturers to turn data into a competitive advantage. On top of that, the use of advanced analytics to solve business challenges related to assortment, price, communication and promotion really spoke to me.

  1. What unique perspective does your experience bring to your leadership role and the company?

Thanks to more than 10 years of experience working with customer data, I have the vision and the ability to take complex data sets and apply highly effective analytical methodologies to drive useful insights for our clients.

  1. What do you love most about your job?

I love working at emnos for a lot of reasons. Since we work with many different retailers and manufacturers being exposed to all sorts of business problems, the work stays interesting and challenging. With each new client project, I continue to learn and grow.

  1. What advice would you give to your younger self?

Get yourself out of your comfort zone.
